每次想要表达20多岁的时候，很多人可能会立刻想到more than twenty，但是这种表达真的正确吗？
其实，more than是“多于，超过，不只是”的意思，当你用“more than twenty”来形容一个人的时候，意思就是这个人可能不只20岁而是30、40岁。
那么，类似于二十多岁的准确表达是什么样的呢？
我们可以用到in one's twenties这个说法。同理，如果是形容“在某人三十多岁时”，我们就可以说in one's thirties。
例：Would people in their twenties read faster on a screen than a book since they've spent a majority of their lives consuming digital content?
由于二十多岁的年轻人花费了大量的时间在电子设备上，他们在屏幕上的阅读速度是否会更加快速？
当然，除了这种表达，还有另外一种表达，那就是twenty-something，这个表达形容的年龄区间是在20到29岁。
例：Dating culture became intertwined with what I imagined to be the "New York lifestyle" of twenty-something working girls.
约会文化与我所认为的二十多岁并正在工作的女孩们纽约式的生活方式相一致。
